What is service for refugees?
The office for social service is altso responsible for giving information to refugees living in the district.
You can make an appointment or see the advisers in their office. You can also make an appointment for a visit in your home.
The service includes:
- Housing assistance
- Information about social services
- Information about school and work
- Integration efforts
- Information about laws, regulations and standards in the Norwegian society
- Information about culture and leisure
- Carrying out the CDI introductoinprogramme ( Norwegian, jobrelated language course)
- Contact with the local centre for refugees/asylum seekers
Cost:
The service is free.
