Medical care in Hemne is co-located with other health services — including dental care.
How can you benefit from the service?
All in need of immediate help will get it at the medical centre.
Refugees and asylum seekers have the same rights as Norwegian citizens to medical care, for which they pay the same deductable (share of the costs).

Other health services
Refugees and asylum seekers also have the same right to other health services as Norwegian citizens.
The services include:

- Physiotherapy
- Pregnancy health cheek
- Toddlers health check
- Schoolchildren health check
Health services for asylum seekers
Hemne has employed a nurse to take care of the residents of the asylum centre.
The services include:
- Health interview with all the refugees at the asylum centre of Jarlen
- Register status of vaccination and tuberculosis/check
- Follow-up check of children (— residents and those staying at the asylum centre)
- Information, practical advice, use of interpreter
- Follow-up dialogues with adult refugees with psychological problems and helping them to get expert help if necessary
For some of these services the user has to pay a deductable (part of the cost). For more information contact the service.
